I was just at Sogo Shopping Complex in Kuala Lumpur about 5 minutes ago (2.55pm) and managed to catch a glimpse of the fuel hike protest. There were about 1000 to 1500 in the group of demonstrators and the "leader" was telling the group to remain calm and be orderly. There was also a group of men in red-shirt who were keeping the group orderly and in line. The demonstration is peaceful as they shouted "BN naik, minyak naik, BN turun, minyak turun" and the police seemed to be exercising restraint. No FRU personnels seen. A helicopter was seen hovering around as well. They were also a big number of people watching the demonstrators.

The group moved towards Jalan Raja Laut. I took a short video of the fuel hike demonstrators at Sogo Complex Kuala Lumpur.
