I finally mustered enough courage to change the template for this blog. Having surfed some sites, I came across Pannasmontata Templates, designed by an Italian girl named Cristina. She has some really good looking templates to choose from and I ended up trying this template. It took me quite a bit of time trying to figure out the various codes and modifying it to my preference.

Whilst the text is probably now easier to read (black text on white background), the photographs do not stand out as much as when they were placed on black background as the previous template shows. I can't have it both ways, I guess...unless anyone got a suggestion for me.

So, this is the template for now.

I like this one. Who says the photos don't stand out? The photo from your previous post looks very good what! Pssst... I've got my new blog on my own domain now and am playing around with my template too. Its a big headache because I'm very new to wordpress. My new blog is not ready to meet the world yet but I will inform you guys when it is ready. hehe. (So.... when are you getting your own domain?)

You are right... the text is easier to read. You can make the photographs stand out by using a photo editing software to add in some borders. Just draw a black box around the photo, and your photos will be framed nicely. I also saw before a blogger who cut zig zag patterns at the photo borders to achieve a scrapbook kind of look.

Anyway I've just started my own blog, and I spent hours trying to get Wordpress Permalinks working sigh... and I'm an IT guy. Still not working probably due to my web hosting setup. Anyway, if you still need help with HTML coding you could always go to my favourite reference site

If it please the court, with all due respect it is a very striking design and easy to read.

I've been thinking about my site design too. Maybe add some nice music?
