Just came back from Court feeling really good. I just settled another case and that means, another case disposed and I can now look forward to billing. Whilst the fees won't be paid for a couple of months' time, it is still good to be able to dispose off another file rather than to have to let it sit on the rack.

Settlement depends much on the type of client that I have as well as my opposite number. Some of my clients are thankfully, quite agreeable with my opinion on matters and usually give me full mandate to act and settle as advised. Some however, makes you wonder why they engage lawyers in the first place because they do not agree with their own lawyers.

Anyway, I am feeling good right now. So...how much shall I bill... :)
