Sigh! If only this Remodel, Blog & Win contest came out three years ago and provided I had been blogging then, I could be staring at a cool $5,000.00! But then again, it is further restricted to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, or a legal resident of Canada, excluding the residents of the Province of Quebec. So, I would be out of the picture in any event.

Anyway, this would be exciting for those who qualify. Bloggers who are remodelling or conducting a home improvement project could stand to win the biggie. The professional judges (made up of people in the home improvement industry as well as established bloggers) would have a final say on who will win the $5,000.00. But that is not all because there will be a People's Choice award of $1,000.00! Who says you cannot capture the hearts of the masses?

The thing about this contest is that you put your creativity into your home improvement project (just like how you would do it in any event if this contest was not around), blog about it by putting nice pictures of your masterpiece and submit your entry for consideration. You might win the cash prize and that's great! If you don't win, there is still potential for generation of traffic to your blog! The increase in exposure will be an intangible benefit indeed. Who knows? You talents might get spotted and you might become the next famous Home Improvement guy in town!
